PARSONS, W.Va – An investigation into an assault Saturday in Tucker County resulted in three arrests.

On Saturday, April 5 just after 3:00 A.M., state troopers started the investigation on Overlook Drive in Parsons and learned a suspect, Trenton DiBartolomeo, fled the scene after EMS arrived.

Troopers then caught up to and stopped the vehicle driven by DiBartolomeo.

Troopers said DiBartolomeo smelled like alcohol and admitted to drinking most a 30 pack of beer that evening.

At the Parsons Police Department, tests confirmed DiBartolomeo’s blood alcohol content at ,137. He was then trasnported to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

The victim told troopers Trenton DiBartolomeo, Cory DiBartolomeo, Levi McCauley, and Crystal HensleyAfter forced their way into his home around 1 a.m. and started questioning him about a large amount of money taken from a family member.

At that point, the victim told troopers DiBartolomeo started strangling him.

As the victim struggled, Levi McCauley allegedly used extension cords to tie him up. DiBartolomeo continued to strangle the victim until he nearly passed out.

According to the victim, Crystal Hensley grabbed a knife from the victim and held it to his throat whil shouting obsenities at him.

The victim told troopers they detroyed his home looking for the money and during the search he was able to escape and call 911 from a nearby residence.

Troopers documented multiple injuries to the victim’s neck, upper chest, face, lower back and on his right shin.

Troopers were also given surveillance footage of the incident where Trenten DiBartolomeo can be heard saying he’s choked people out before and the victim was faking.

Trenton DiBartolomeo has been charged with burglary, kidnapping, strangulation, and DUI. He is being held without bond.

Cory DiBartolomeo has been charged with burglary and conspiracy to inflict injury on another person. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Crystal Hensley has been charged with burglary, conspiracy to inflict injury on another person, and malicious assault. She is being held on a $25,000 bond.

Levi McCauley has been charged with burglary, conspiracy to inflict injury on another person, kidnapping, and is being held without bond.
