MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former Westover city councilman Ralph Mullins is due back in court Monday following a domestic incident in June of last year.
The female told Westover police Mullins became angry during a verbal altercation that turned physical. The woman alleges Mullins threatened her with a ten pound weight, turned the treadmill over she was on, and held her on the floor.
The investigating officer reported a bruise to the victim’s left elbow.
At the time Mullins said through an attorney the allegations were false and the result of a marital issue that has been blown out of proportion.
A motion hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday.
