HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. – Harrison County first responders rescued two people entrapped in a vehicle after an accident on Wednesday night.
Emergency crews responded to an accident with entrapment on Shinnston Pike in Clarksburg at around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.
According to 911 officials fire departments for Spelter, Lumberport and Clarksburg responded to the call, along with Harrison County EMS, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and Clarksburg Police.
U.S. Route 19 was shut down for a period of time.
The two people in the vehicle were transported to the hospital, no updates have been given on the severity of their injuries.
