SWAT team called to standoff situation in Mannington

MANNINGTON, W.Va. — First responders and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team were called to the scene of a standoff in Mannington Wednesday evening that remained active late in Wednesday night.

Officials with the Marion County 911 Center reported that crews have been on scene at the 174 Buffalo Street since 4:51 p.m. They added that no injuries have been reported and there is no threat to the public at this time.

No other information have been released.

As of this publication, the standoff remains ongoing.
