CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Clarksburg police have arrested three in connection with a beating and kidnapping in that city Wednesday.

Police said Corey Baker, 19, Matthew Killian, 40, and Israel Jarvis, 20, are all facing felony charges in connection with the incident that was reported from Simpson Avenue.

The trio are accused forcing the victim into a vehicle him into a vehicle and holding him at gunpoint with an AK-47 style rifle and driving to a residence on Simpson Avenue.

After arriving at the Simpson Svenue residence, Baker reportedly asked Jarvis to bring him a bag to put the gun in. When Baker received the bag he got out of the vehicle and allowed the victim to leave.

The AK-47, along with a Glock .44 pistol, were found in the residence when police executed a search warrant.

Baker is charged with kidnapping, wanton endangerment, and presentation of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He’s being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $1 million bond.

Killian and Jarvis are each charged with three counts of conspiracy and are being held in the North Central Regional Jail with bonds of $500,000 each.
