MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash at the intersection of Hartman Run Road and Mileground Road Wednesday.
Deputies from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department responded at 2:10 p.m. and found a vehicle traveling southbound on Mileground Road was making a left turn onto Hartman Run Road. As the motorcycle rider traveled north on Hartman Run Road the vehicle hit the cyclist ejecting him.
The motorcycle rider is being treated at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital for life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
