WILSONBURG, W.Va. — A man wanted for attempted murder in Pennsylvania was captured after a chase with police in Harrison County Monday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m. in a stolen vehicle, Trump led Clarksburg Police on a chase in the downtown area, through Summit Park then out Route 50 to the Wilsonburg area.

At New Creek Road Trump was shot in the hand by police then continued to run into a wooded area off Wilsonburg Road.

Deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office found and arrested Trump around 1:40 p.m. Monday.

Trump was wanted on a warrant for attempted murder from Greene County, Pa., and is also wanted for grand larceny and a parole warrant from West Virginia.

Trump is receiving medical treatment before being booked into jail.
