FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A 50-year old Fairmont man is facing charges after police said he strangled a 11 year old boy Monday.
The mother of the victim told police Damion McGinley got into an argument with the child and put him in a chokehold in a residence on Circle Drive.
Police reported the child had red marks on his neck and blood vessel damage to both eyes.
McGinley is currently in the North Central Regional Jail on $20,000 bond.
