MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. — A suspect in a Berkley County kidnapping of a child was arrested in Monongalia County Wednesday night.
Officials from the Berkley County Sheriff’s Department were notified by deputies in Marion County that Tiffanie Dokes-Klauser was at the truck stop at I-79and Goshen Road and had an active felony kidnapping warrant.
At the scene, deputies located the missing child in the suspect’s car.
Deputies verified the status of the child with the National Crime Information Center database and placed Klauser under arrest.
Dokes-Klauser has been charged with Kidnapping and isbeing held without bond following her arraignment in in Monongalia County.
Child Protective Services was able to reunite the child with family.
