MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Crews for the Morgantown Utility Board will begin cleaning operations next week that could lead to foul odors during work operations.
The grit chamber at the Deckers Creek Pump Station will be cleaned Tuesday, August 12 through Thursday, August 14.
During cleaning, unpleasant odors could be released in the immediate vicinity of the pump station. While these odors may be undesirable, they are harmless and pose no threat to public health.
Crews will complete the work as quickly as possible.
Poor weather or unknown circumstances could extend the schedule.
