MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. — The state Division of Highways (DOH) has announced a two year maintenance project on the I-68/US Route 119 overpass bridge that will begin next week.
Crews will be replacing the bridge deck, bearings and expansion joints beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 7 a.m. through mid-fall 2027.
During work operations two lanes will remain open in each direction, but delays are anticipated.
Poor weather or unforeseen conditions could extend the work schedule.
