Valley Volunteer Fire Department to leave White Hall Station

WHITE HALL, W.Va. — The Valley Volunteer Fire Department (VVFD) has notified the Town of White Hall that they do not intend to renew their lease at the Public Safety Building.

Town officials extended an offer of $10 per month for six months this week, but the members declined and will relocate to Pleasant Valley.

In a press release, VVFD members said the previous lease allowed for use of the two garage bays, office space, a dayroom, and bathrooms, but the recent offer included only the the garage area.

The release also said they are committed to continuing to serve the residents of White Hall and Marion County.
