MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The final suspect in a downtown Morgantown attack from earlier this year has been arrested nine months after the attack.
Dae’Sean Reeves, 18, of Monessen, Pa., faces malicious wounding, conspiracy, and now failure to appear and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail without bail.
Reeves has pleaded not guilty to the charges associated with the February assault. The victim suffered a concussion that required three staples to the head.
The beating happened at a pizza shop on High Street and caused outrage when the images made it to social media.
Rylan Rock, Eli Marva, Daniel Hudock, Eric Adonis Hill, Darryl Ray, Cameron Diggs, Keith Cushenberry, and Travis Crutcher have also been arrested in connection with the attack.
Reeves was indicted in May and failed to appear later that month, leading to the additional warrant being issued.
Reeves has a preliminary hearing scheduled for December 1.
