FAIRMONT, W.Va. — The suspected leader of the Pagan Motorcycle Club, Marion County resident Ryan Lane has accepted a plea deal in the Henry Silver murder case.

The state has agreed to drop murder and conspiracy charges in exchange for a no contest plea to organized criminal enterprise, a felony.

Lane could face up to 10 years in prison at sentencing.

Lane is one of six defendants accused of killing Silver in the parking lot of a Carolina apartment complex because they believed he was romantically involved with a member, John Wolfe, of the motorcycle club. Wolfe is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in the case, and the suspected shooter, Austin Mullins, was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Lane will continue to serve home confinement until his sentencing date that has not been set.
