RIVESVILLE, W.Va. — Multiple departments responded to an overnight structure fire in Marion County that also damaged two other homes.

Officials with the Rivesville Volunteer Fire Department reported that emergency crews were alerted to a fire on Stone Street in Rivesville at 1:07 a.m. on Friday. Crews on scene determined that two other homes close by were also involved not long after they arrived and entrapment was reported.

When departments arrived on the scene of the fire they found one home fully engulfed, while the second home had an active fire. When the fire was contained, only one room of the second home was damaged, while a third had minor heat damage. The fully engulfed structure appears to be heavily damaged.

Crews operated for a total of three and a half hours. No injuries were reported.
