MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department is thanking the public for tips leading to the capture of a suspect in a sexual assault case.
In November of 2024 an investigation resulted in Steven Keith Waybright, 32, being charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of child abuse.
Waybright was featured in the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department “Wanted Wednesday” feature where members of the public are encouraged to submit tips.
Waybright was captured at a Preston County residence without incident this week.
