WESTON, W.Va. — A Colorado man is in custody after leading police on a pursuit through Lewis and Braxton Counties.

Sunday, Kyle Jitsuwo Ulysses Zercues Matsuoka Termin, 27, of Denver, Co., is accused of driving though Weston at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour around 10 p.m.

Termin fled on Route 19 South at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour when police attempted to stop him.

Termin got on I-79 South at the Roanoke exit and damaged several signs when he crashed in the median. He then continued on I-79 South at speeds of up to 115 miles per hour with no lights.

During the pursuit police confirmed the vehicle had been stolen from the BFS in Weston earlier that day.

At mile marker 77 on I-79 South troopers with the West Virginia State Police deployed stop sticks that deflated the driver’s side tires. Termin continued until crashing near mile marker 66.

Termin then went north on I-79 at speeds of about 15 miles per hour before stopping after a short distance. Termin resisted commends forcing police to tase him in order to remove him from the vehicle.

Termin has been charged with fleeing with reckless indifference, grand larceny and is being held without bond in the Central Regional Jail.
