GRAFTON, W.Va. –– Police in Grafton made an arrest in case involving the beating of a female victim and her 12-year old daughter.
Joseph Sharp, 35, of Grafton, allgedly hit a woman in the head several times before ripping her pants off. Sharp is also accused of hitting thre 12-year old in the head several times times when she came to the defense of her mom.
The victim told police she feared Sharp was going to sexually assault her.
Police were able to locate vidoe evidenvce showing Sharp yelling at and hitting the victim.
Sharp has been charged with attempted 2nd degree sexual assault and domestic battery and is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
