KINGWOOD, W.Va. — Preston County authorities arrested a Maryland fugitive from justice and another suspect on breaking and entering charges.
During Thursday night patrols Deputy R.A. Stockett Jr. reported suspicious activity off Herring Road near a local car dealership.
Stockett discovered Dwight Clary, 37, and Vicki Curtis, 34, both of Morgantown, allegedly breaking into Victory Dodge.
Clary made off with stolen property before being apprehended a short time later.
Maryland State Police in McHenry advised Clary is wanted there on charges of 1st and 3rd degree burglary and theft over $1,000.
Clary and Curtis were awaiting arraignment in Preston County Magistrate Court Friday morning.
