Appointments for the latest Mon County COVID vaccine clinic fill quickly

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and the West Virginia Joint Inter Agency Task Force for COVID-19 Vaccines will hold 14 COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week as part of “Operation Save Our Wisdom.” “Operation Save Our Wisdom targets West Virginians over the age of 80 for the vaccine.

As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 12 all appointments for the Wednesday, January 13 event at the Morgantown Readiness Center have been booked. For information about future vaccine clinics call 304-257-3383.

In Harrison County, a vaccination clinic is planned for Wednesday, January 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nathan Goff Armory. The number to call for an appointment is 304-423-7969.

Health officials say there are a pproximately 6,300 vaccines in total for the clinics.

Clinics will also be held this week in Berkeley, Braxton, Greenbrier, Hardy, Hancock, Kanawha, Randolph, and Wood counties. Click here for more information.
