FAIRMONT, W.Va. — The southbound side of I-79 in Marion County reopened around 5:45 p.m. after at least four accidents Friday afternoon. Multiple vehicle crash snarls Mileground traffic

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Thursday afternoon multiple vehicle crash on Cheat Road caused an extensive backup onto the Mileground Thursday. The four-vehicle crash was reported around 2:40 p.m. and there is no information about injuries. The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department and firefighters from Brookhaven, Cheat Lake, and Morgantown responded.
