Mon County detectives: Virginia man died of overdose, three charged, one more sought

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Detectives from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department say four people have been charged in connection with the death Jessie Young Jr., 40, of Winchester, Virginia Police say Young died of alcohol and cocaine intoxication on the morning of July 4 this year. His body was found over a hill off Dry Run Road a day later.

Reports indicate Young was with Mikkel McDougal, Sarah Sherman, Denver Lamb and was consuming controlled substances in a Morgantown apartment with at least two of the subjects. When Young overdosed none of the three provided life saving care or called for help.

Hours after Young’s death, McDougal, Sherman, Lamb and Isiaih Antonk loaded Young’s body in the backseat of a car and drive it to the remote area of Dry Run Road. After getting the car off the road all four subjects fled in another vehicle.

Several hours after Mr. Young Jr.’s death, the three individuals previously listed along with an Isaiah Antonk, loaded Mr. Young Jr.’s body in the backseat of his vehicle and then drove his body to the area of Dry Run Road. After staging the scene and assisting the vehicle containing the body off the road, all the individuals involved left the scene in an additional vehicle.

McDougal and Antonk have been charged with failure to render aid and concealing a human corpse. McDougal posted bond and Antonk is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.

Deputies say Lamb was using the alias of Denver and has been arrested for similar charges. His given name is Deaver Lamb, according to officials.

Warrants have been issued for Sarah Sherman, Denver Lamb for similar charges, but detectives have not located them.
