Detroit man sentenced for selling drugs in Mon County

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – U.S. Attorney Bill Powell says a Detroit man has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for selling drugs in Monongalia County.

Court documents say Sean Benard “Spook” Williams sold oxycodone and concaine on numerous occassions between 2013 and 2017 in Monongalia County and elsewhere.

The Mon Valley Drug and Violent Crime Drug Task Force, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office, Morgantown Police Department, the Star City Police Department, the West Virginia State Police, the West Virginia University Police Department, the Granville Police Department, and the Monongalia County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office all assisted.
