Eviction notice leads drug, gun arrest in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Serving an eviction order on Faatima Jones quickly became a drug and gun gun arrest in Fairmont.

While Marion County Sheriff’s deputies were serving the eviction notice they observed drug activity in open view.

After obtaining a search warrant deputies found a black safe, heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, digital scales and packaging materials. In the safe police found identification belonging to Jones and several loaded handguns.

Jones has been charged with three counts of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver. She is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
