Fairmont State University adds medical equipment through grants, donations

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – The Fairmont State University plans to purchase a $100,000 pediatric simulator through grants and donations.

School officials say they’ll replace a ten-year-old system with a state-of-the-art simulator that provides essential hands-on training during clinical settings.

The school received a $50,000 grant from the Maier Foundation, a $25,000 grant from the Carl DelSignore Foundation and an anonymous $25,000 from a donor.
