THORNTON, W.Va. — The State Fire Marshals Office has determined a fire that destroyed a mobile home in Taylor County Monday night should no longer be considered suspicious.
Investigators worked Tuesday at the site of the fire in Thornton, along Bentridge Road.
Crews originally responded to the fire at approximately 9:30 Monday night and battled the flames for roughly an hour and a half before they were extinguished.
However, the home was considered a total loss by that point.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
