Former Harrison County deputy sentenced in drug distribution case

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Former Harrison County Sheriff’s deputy, Timothy Rock, 42, has been sentenced to 58 months in prison for four counts of distributing heroin.

Court documents say Rock gave heroin to confidential informants during police-monitored drug buys. Rock would give, or let the confidential informant take a portion of the illegal drugs following the buy.

Evidence showed Rock took heroin from the evidence room and used sheriff’s department and court documents to hide his actions.
