MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU officials have released the following statement about the recovery of President Gordon Gee:
Dr. Gee underwent a successful hip replacement surgery Thursday, and continues to do extremely well. He is in very good spirits and has been walking and climbing stairs. He shares his deep appreciation and gratitude for the medical team that has provided incredible care and guidance. He also sends his thanks to all who have reached out to share their support, and looks forward to returning to the office soon.
