Justice calls for special session

CHARLESTON, W. Va. – Governior Jim Justice has ordered a special session for the West Virginia Legislature noon Monday, November 18 to consider three bills.

Justice wants the special session to consider the spending authority for debt service payments on Roads to Prosperity Bonds, Rounds 2 and 3, bring certain DUI Expungement Procedures into compliance with federal law and re-authorization of the Tourism Development Act.

The special session will be held while lawmakers are gathered in Charleston for previously-scheduled November Interim Committee meetings.
