Marion County man convicted on weapons charge

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – A Marion County man could go to prison for a decade on weapons charges.

 Richard Wells, 22, of Baxter entered a guilty plea in federal court Monday.

 The office of the U.S. Attorney in the northern district of West Virginia, reported Wells was discovered in Lewis County with a stolen .357 caliber revolver.

 Wells could spend 10 years in prison and be fined up to $250,000 for aiding and abetting in the possession of stolen firearms.
