Michigan man pleads to meth charges

CLARKSBURG, W.Va – A Michigan man has pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamine in Morgantown.

25-year-old Myron Manning, of Warren, Michigan, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine according to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice.

According to court documents, Manning was arrested by police after a traffic stop in Morgantown, which resulted in the discovery of nearly three pounds of methamphetamine in a search. 48 grams of heroin was also found and a loaded 9mm pistol was in Manning’s possession.

Officers also found digital scales, a small amount of marijuana, multiple cell phones, and some cash, authorities say.

Manning faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

A federal district court judge will determine the sentence.
