Mom allegedly pepper-sprayed, beat another woman

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– A Morgantown mother is facing up to five years in prison for allegedly pepper-spraying and beating another woman.

Lisa Keffer, 30, has been arraigned on felony malicious assault. She was able to post $5,000 bond. Police say the victim went to Keffer’s residence on April 10 to discuss an issue beweent the two women’s children. During the discussion, Keffer allegedly pepper-sprayed the other woman and as the woman turned to walk away hit her in the head with a blunt object.

Police say the victim had a large cut and bruise on the back of her scalp.
