More charges for Fairmont man following drug investigation

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Another arrest from a August 22 drug and gun incident has been arrested.

A report from the Fairmont Police Department says Anika Desilvia, 30, came out of an apartment on Watson Avenue with a gun telling people outside, “be quiet because this apartment is hot right now.”

A search of the property uncovered a pink camouflage pistol in a shoe box in the back of his bedroom.

As a result of the August 22 incident Desilvia has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He is also being charged with brandishing deadly weapons and obstructing an officer for events that occurred on September 9.
