Morgantown man arrested for marijuana possession

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Morgantown police have made one arrest and confiscated a significant amount of marijuana.

A report from police says on November 6 police stopped a car driven by Jesse Cooper, 35, on Prospect Street and smelled the odor of marijuana. A search uncovered a large amount of marijuana in individually packaged bags.

Cooper has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
