MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Morgantown police intervened in a burglary in progress, stopped an altercation and arrested the suspect Wednesday.
Police responded at 8:04 a.m. to a residence in the 400 block of Dallas Street and observed an active struggle between the suspect, Aireu Jahrone Bonano, 26, of Morgantown. Bonano fled the residence on foot and was captured nearby with items from the residence in his possession.
Bonano has been charged with burglary and is awaiting arraignment.
The tenant was not injured.
