MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Police have arrested one person after two attempts to break in homes over the weekend in Morgantown.
The first victim called for help from a home on Antietam Drive when Kyle Mason opened the front door with a baseball bat and a dog. The victim was able to get the door shut and Mason fled the scene.
Next, Mason went to the home of an off-duty police officer. The off-duty cop heard a smack outside the front door, opened it and saw Mason crouched down with the baseball bat and dog. The officer took the bat from mason and ordered him to the ground.
