MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — One person was injured in a crash along Kingwood Pike in Monongalia County Tuesday morning.
The crash happened near Summer School Road around 8:30 a.m. according to Monongalia County emergency officials. One person was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital. There’s no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
Officials had to close Kingwood Pike to clean up the scene. Crews from the Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department and the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
