One of three accused in the murder of Whitey Bulger to be arraigned

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – One of three federal inmates charged in the beating death of notorious gangster Whitey Bulger will be arraigned Friday at 11 a.m. in Clarksburg for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder..

Sean McKinnon, 36, will be represented by Assistant Federal Public Defender Katy Cimino.

McKinnon is accused of being a lookout while Freddy Geas and Paul J. DeCologero beat Bulger to death shortly after arriving at United States Penitentiary Hazleton in Bruceton Mills in October of 2018.

No hearings have been scheduled for Geas and DeCologero at this time.
