Pennsylvania fugitive captured in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A Pennsylvania fugitive was captured outside a Park Street home in Morgantown around noon Tuesday.

Guerau Bernat Cabrera, 41, was wanted by the Plum Borough Police Department for indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, dissemination to minors, and corruption of minors.

Members of the U.S. Marshal Service along with units from the Morgantown Police Department made the arrest.

Documents indicate Cabrera was in a relationship with the victim’s mother and was acting as a caregiver when the alleged crimes occurred.

Cabrera will be held in the North Central Regional Jail until extradition.
