Polis announces run for West Virginia senate

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Fairmont resident, Rebecca Polis has filed as a Republican candidate in the 13th district for the senate seat currently held by Roman Prezioso.

Polis was born in Calhoun County, currently lives in Marion County and is a supporter of the West Virginia Republican platform fully and is a conservative leader. She refers to herself as a “Voice for Values.”

Polis is pro-second amendment and wants to ensure the West Virginia educational system is based in historical reality. The pro-life candidate also wants to address the addiction crisis including re-education programs and prescription availability accountability. She also plans to address the objectification of woman.

Polis has 40 years experience in establishing and administering people/educational organizations as an international teacher, mentor, and adviser. She has been married for 45 years and has four children and eight grandchildren.
