Preston County woman charged for selling drugs at the Morgantown Mall

WESTOVER, W.Va. — A Preston County woman is facing drug charges after being accused of “selling narcotics” out of her vehicle at the Morgantown Mall.

Morgan Wilgis, 26, of Albright, is in custody after officers from the Westover Police Department responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in the parking lot of J.C. Penny in the Morgantown Mall Tuesday. According to the criminal complaint, officers arrived to find the vehicle at the food court parking lot, with Wilgis inside, along with “excessive amounts” of Oxycodone, heroin and packaging materials.

Wilgis, had outstanding warrants in Taylor and Barbour counties, as well as in Pennsylvania before she was arrested. She is being charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Wilgis is being held in North Central Regional Jail on $25,000 bond.
