CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Reports of skin irritation from the football team at the Mountaineer Middle School in Clarksburg have prompted officials to cancel a game and deep clean hard surfaces. Officials say students reported skin irritation after hours and safety measures were taken immediately.
Deep cleaning has been performed to practice gear, helmets, floors and hard surfaces in every classroom.
There are no confirmed reports of Ringworm, MRSA or any other skin infection.
