MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Monongalia County Sheriffs Department reports a one-year-old died Tuesday after being struck by a car in the North Hills area.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 3:20 and found the child had been transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Deputies say the toddler was struck when a vehicle pulled off a public road to a private drive.
The investigation is ongoing.
