Two injured in Mannington structure fire

MANNINGTON, W.Va. — A structure fire in Mannington has injured two people according to Marion County officials.

Crews responded to the East Main Street fire around 2:10 Monday afternoon and found a working structure fire.

Firefighters from the Mannington Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the blaze and deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department are conducting an investigation.

One of the injured was flown from the scene and another was taken to an area hospital.

No other information has been released.
