Two more arrests in Jan. robbery in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– Two more suspects in a January robbery in Morgantown have been arrested. Shania Nicole Ammans, 19, of Fairview, W.Va., and Ashton Britton, 19, of Kingwood, W.Va., were taken into custody on Wednesday.

Morgantown Police began investigating the robbery at a residence on Hess Street back in January. The victims told police two men entered the home brandishing handguns and demanding money. Detectives identified the two men as Tony Lee Britton II, 20, and Brian Scott Johnson, 23, of Morgantown. Britton was charged with First Degree Robbery, Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. He was released in lieu of $40,000.00 bond. Johnson was charged with First Degree Robbery, Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. He is still being held at North Central Regiona Jail.

Ammans is being held at North Central Regional Jail, charged with First Degree Robbery, Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. Britton charged with First Degree Robbery, Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and is being held at North Central Regional Jail.
