MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Two high school students were transported to a local hospital after an SUV and a school bus were involved in an accident on Bakers Ridge Road.
The accident was called in at 9:02 Thursday morning in front of the entrance to University High School. The injuries were considered minor in nature.
The cause of the accident included both icy roads and speed. Monongalia County was pelted with some snow and ice overnight, leading to a two-hour delay for all schools in the county.
The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
