MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The United States Marshals Service apprehended a parole violator on Thursday afternoon who had taken off from police.
Frank “Jeff” Bertrand was found in a wooded area near Brookhaven Road about 2:40 p.m.
When officers approached Bertrand at his home earlier in the day, U.S. Supervisory Deputy Terry Moore said he took off out a window.
Bertrand is on probation for burglary. He has a criminal history of fleeing and assault on an officer.
