University Police investigating campus burglary, urge caution

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University officials are urging caution following a burglary investigation Sunday.

University Police investigated the report Sunday Jan. 9 around 6:30 a.m. in Vandalia Hall. Investigators say a person entered an apartment and took a video game console, but ran away after being discovered and left behind a TV that appears to be from another location. The suspect is at-large and described as a Black male approximately 5’10” wearing a white hoodie, maroon vest and dark colored pants.
