CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Officials in Clarksburg say a 61-year-old woman has died as a result of fire on Seneca Drive this morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 7:10 a.m. and have been on scene with investigators from the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office for most of the day.
Three dogs and two cats were also died in the blaze.
Investigators have not determined the cause of the fire but say it started in the kitchen. No damage estimate is available.
