FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. — An elderly woman passed away after suffering injuries during a house fire on August 17th.
Wanda Kessell, 81, passed away Friday at Cabbell-Huntington Hospital. Richard Kessell, 55, remains hospitalized and is in stable condition.
The fire began shortly before 4 a.m on Gatewood Road near Fayetteville.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office ruled the cause of the fire undetermined. The investigation remains ongoing.
